I know this review is coming directly after I reviewed the previous book. That is because I finished the second book with a "What??" reaction and directly picked up this one. I was not disappointed and enjoyed every page of this book. The characters' development from the first book was amazing. I got to watch Krissa grow from a, sorry to say this but, pathetic teenage girl to an amazingly strong heroine. She stepped up and stayed true to what she thought was right. I love that she didn't follow along with the rebellion every step of the way just because they were the other choice. When Braiden died in the previous book I just knew the series was sunk but now I think Ferguson did the right thing and it was the catalyst for the success of the final book.
